Privacy Policy

Under Hungarian and EU data protection laws (in particular the GDPR), every data controller is obliged to comply with the rules on data processing and to inform data subjects about this in a clear and understandable way. It is not sufficient to publish a long legal text on the website: in the event of an inspection, it must also be demonstrated that the processing of personal data actually complies with the legal requirements and that data is processed only to the extent and for the duration that is strictly necessary.

What do we mean by personal data?
We consider any information to be personal data that can be used to identify a natural person, directly or indirectly. On this site we also process personal data, for example: callsign, e‑mail address, name, IP address, and the geographical region that can be inferred from the IP address. This data is necessary for operating the site, managing registrations and preventing misuse.

This data is stored, processed and managed by the site operator as data controller. Without this, we would not be able to operate the site and the services securely.

On this site we only use cookies that are necessary for the technical operation of the site (for example login and maintaining the session). We do not use so‑called tracking cookies that would allow external advertisers or analytics providers to track you. For this reason, we do not bother you with unnecessary, annoying cookie pop‑ups, but we provide information about the basic use of cookies here.

The data subject – that is, the person whose data we process – has the right to request information about what personal data we store about them, for what purpose and for how long. Under Article 15 of the GDPR, they may also request a copy of this data. In addition, they may request the rectification or updating of their personal data, or the erasure of the data.

Most of these functions are available directly on the site (for example, deleting your own account). If you need more information or assistance than this, you can request information via the contact details of the data controller.

We consider the security of your data to be especially important: we protect it with appropriate technical and organisational measures, and we only disclose it to third parties with your consent or on the basis of a legal obligation.
